We, at SALENTO, feel there is a need for comfortable and cozy "gathering places" so people can talk or just mingle with others. In the last few years many businesses have positioned themselves as coffee or tea selling establishments and in the process have somehow become the gathering place for many. Nonetheless, their roots and original concepts were to sell many coffee and tea drinks with a very limited number of other beverages and food alternatives. Gathering became a mere byproduct, not the core of the customer experience.

At SALENTO, "gathering" is the concept. It is our reason to exist and how we measure our success. Gathering can be among several people enjoying each other's company or a solo experience of enjoying the place and the crowd (yes, you can also gather if you come by yourself, believe it or not). Because this concept is our core root, we offer much more than just a line of products or beverages. The atmosphere, combined with several food and beverage alternatives are key elements in your "gathering experience" and satisfaction.

At the same time, we do not expect to be completely different. We know good coffee is a key component of the "gathering experience". We do differ though, on our coffee concept from a lot of other vendors. For example, we only sell single origin and medium dark roast coffee. Single origin guarantees a constant top quality experience and allows us to certify the natural shade grown environment which is so important for the ecology and the economy of the coffee growing regions. Our single origin shade grown coffee can only be hand-picked and thus all the grains are carefully selected by size, color and quality. Experts will also tell you that coffee grains are dark roasted when there is a need to hide quality problems or a lot of variance in the grains. There is also a difference between dark roast and strong coffee. If you like strong coffee, just ask our baristas and we will make it to your taste.

Coffee however is not be the only way to enjoy an optimal "gathering", so we offer other great alternatives: Coffee Frappes with true coffee flavor and Fruit Frappes made with real fruit like a good smoothie should be; Wine of the House with Malbec and Chardonnay grapes, or the Wine of the Month that brings new choices twelve times a year; Top quality German beer and refreshing Michelada made of beer and organic lemonade; Excellent Sangria and Mimosa to complete our spirits' alternatives. There are many other wonderful drinks to enhance your "gathering experience", so just look at our menu or ask our baristas.
